An ounce (oz) is not a size but a unit of weight (28.35 grams), but the number of ounces determines not only the weight of the gloves, but also their size. For lighter gloves, weighing up to 10 ounces, the internal space for inserting the hand also increases with the weight, which in this case makes it easier to choose the size based on the weight of the gloves. The inner size of gloves weighing 10 ounces and more is already universal, and the outer dimensions of the gloves increase with the weight, which is related to the use of more and more foam in the impact zone, thus determining the purpose of the gloves.

Overlord Legend gloves are filled with a crush-resistant foam of various density with additional, perfectly shock-absorbing and energy-distributing EVA foam on the entire surface of the gloves. The foam is very durable, thanks to which it provides effective protection against injuries and comfort of use.
The contoured thumb is covered with the body of the glove and attached to it with a very strong tape.

Nevertheless, it should be remembered that when performing strong kicks, large overloads also affect the dorsal part of the metatarsus and the ankle joint, which is the most susceptible to injuries of all joints in the human body. A shin and foot protector is essential equipment in full contact combat sports, its purpose is to protect against the opponent's kicks and when striking. The choice of the appropriate model of shin and foot protectors depends on the discipline practiced and the level of advancement. Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Krav Maga require well-shaped, hard protectors that protect the legs as much as possible due to the need to perform a large number of strong kicks. Our Overlord® Shin in Step Legend, thanks to their multi-layer construction using shock-absorbing foam of various densities, perfectly absorb and evenly distribute the energy resulting from powerful kicks, thus effectively protecting against painful injuries.
The skin-friendly, anti-allergic inner fabric has anti-slip properties, thanks to which the Legend protectors gain additional protection against sliding during training, additionally, the fabric ensures proper absorption and removal of moisture, also having an antibacterial function.
The stability of the mounting in the shin part is guaranteed by a double hook & loop, ensuring precise adjustment to every calf shape.

MMA gloves are divided into training gloves and fighting gloves. Each of these types differs in shape, properties and thickness of the filling used and the thickness of the foam. Training gloves are most often made in a closed version, with thumb and fist protection. MMA sparring gloves, just like sparring boxing gloves, are noticeably softer than training gloves, thanks to which they better protect the sparring partner against the effects of very strong blows. Recommendations
Most MMA gloves are made with a 1-1.5 cm allowance for each size, this means that a size S will fit a size M hand, therefore the choice of size is determined by the fighter's weight.
For people weighing up to 75 kg, regardless of age and gender, sizes S and M will be ideal.
Players weighing over 75 kg should choose gloves in sizes L and XL. For maximum safety and comfort, especially for people up to 75 kg taking their first steps in MMA, the weight of the glove should not exceed 4 ounces for training gloves, and 7 ounces for competition gloves.
